About Me

Hi, I’m Jaylin. I’m a Musical Theatre major at CAP21, born and raised in Long Island, New York. After losing my mom at eleven, I found comfort and joy in the arts during a time I really needed it. I discovered my passion in middle school but didn’t fully pursue it until high school, where Carrie: The Musical made me realize that storytelling could become my career.

In high school, I was part of the Concert Choir as Historian and Tenor Senior Leader. I also performed in two a cappella groups: Barbershop, where I sang Tenor 1 and served as President, and Vocal Jazz, which helped expand my musical range. These experiences deepened my love for performing and connecting through music.

More than anything, I want to tell stories that make people feel seen, bring joy, or offer comfort in tough times. When I’m not on stage, I’m with my family, walking a boardwalk, gaming, playing with my dog, or dreaming up what’s next. I’m incredibly grateful for my time at CAP21 and excited for what lies ahead.
